On a roll!

It seems I am on a roll and now the second set is complete. I just love them . . and such a great way to get some use out of all this fabric laying around here that just seems to pile up out of no where

-cough cough-

Now just to decide which one for miss to wear to the get together on sunday!

A Blue Hullabaloo!

After seeing Matilda look so awesome in the hippy chic soft cord outfit (see previous posts) and loving the mix of the blue linen with the hearts I had just enough of both left over to make this outfit !!

The colours bring out the big baby blues Matilda has!

Making muffins!

Yesterday morning Matilda wanted to do some cooking. She was trying to drag the chair into the kitchen as my big hint that she wanted to! So we made some muffin/cupcake type things. With an Apple Cinnamon Muffin Mix with some craisins, semi dried pear and semi dried apples thrown in then topped with sprinkles to make it pretty!

I let her fill her own patty tins for the first time and I must admit she did a lot better job then I thought she would!! I really think this means we need some mummy/daughter aprons!!

Hippy Chic!

I made this outfit quite a while ago but this is the first time Matilda has worn it . . or should I say ..  let me put it on her! And I must say I am stoked at how great it looks on her and we even got a few comments went out yesterday about it . . and of course this crafty mama gets to say "I made it "

We headed off to lunch yesterday and she looked so grown up with her little glass and sitting at the big table!

Pretty in Pink!

Here is Matilda modelling the Spring Overalls I made her ! They fit like a dream!!

Like Mother . . like daughter !!

Matilda loves to watch when I sew so I let her have a little turn . . at first on my lap and then on her own . . she so wants to be able to do it !

I must admit though . . its a lot easier when she just plays with the pins. She loves to push the pins into fabric like I do when pinning things .. its so darn cute!

Spunky Pants

My little miss is a spunky pants in her own right but with these new mama made 3/4 pants she will be the spunkiest miss in town!

The aqua is acutally a linen type of fabric and the hearts is a cotton to create a contrast around the leg . . they just need some elastic and they are all done!!

Spring is here!!

And to celebrate a gorgeous pair of overalls! Made from the most devine of cottons . . with a satiny feel and bright pinks and oranges ..  truly going to be a flower girl in this!! I have yet to try it on her yet as she is currently at daycare but I can't wait to see her in it ..  I love little girls in overalls!

There is little flounces on the legs and it does up at the top with some snaps (once I put them on there . . hehe)

Sleepytime Bear Nightgown GIVEAWAY !!!!!!!

Another devine creation from the creative imagination of the lovely owner of Grosgrain Fabulous.

This night gown truly reminds of Little House on the Prairie ..  I adored that show as a young girl and it still holds a dear dear spot in my heart!!

Table Cloth Skirt and Dinner Party Top GIVEAWAY !!!!!!!

Table Cloth Skirt and Dinner Party Top GIVEAWAY !!!!!!!

This has to be one of the most gorgeous outfits I have ever seen! Its so grown up yet still so petite and young ..  its truly delicious!!

To quote the blog :

I found the skirt material in the discount aisle at Hancock Fabric, but I consider it a great find! It has a large Amy Butler-esk design. It looked like a material I would use to make a tablecloth. I still have some fabric left over, so perhaps I still just might.

To compliment the skirt I sewed a cowl neck, short sleeve top with a lighter brown knit material. I don't think I can remember seeing a cowl neck *anything *for kids but I thought it looked good on Lily. And it was *sew* easy to make to boot! I measured, cut and sewed it all in just one hour! That might be a record for me.

Put together, Lily looks like she's ready to serve her delicious three course meal to all her stylish preschool friends.

This would fit a 3T-4T.
